In 2021, an investor group led by COI Partners and SME Equity Partners acquired 100% of the shares in Promedical AG

Promedical AG, headquartered in Glarus, Switzerland, is a leading solution provider of medical consumables. The company focuses particularly on customized surgical kits  and medical products used before, during and after surgery, such as disposable surgical instruments, surgical clothing, and drapes. The product range currently includes over 2,000 certified medical consumables, which are primarily distributed to hospitals and clinics as both proprietary and trade products.

Thanks to its high level of service and product quality,  Promedical has established itself as a leader in the Swiss market for medical consumables over the past decades, especially in the area of  customized surgical packs and kits. Today, the company has numerous well-established partnerships with Swiss hospitals, clinics, and doctors, along with robust logistics system that succsessfully manages its exentsive product range.

Goal   

The goal is to further expand the established business at the Glarus site, continuously enhance customized services, and integrate additional product groups. In the long term, Promedical aims to become the leading integrated solution provider for the Swiss healthcare sector.
